Four Arrested in Mankranso Drug Raid

Police in Mankranso have arrested four suspected drug peddlers following a dawn operation in Kunsu Township on Friday.

The suspects, Issaka Musah, 22; Amankwah Emmanuel, 25; Kwame Boateng, 32; and Appiah Prince, 23, were taken into custody after officers recovered:

According to a statement by the police, a locally manufactured pistol with ammunition was found and seized.

Other items include suspected Tramadol, Indian hemp, and cocaine

Authorities also found an amount of GH¢5,647.40 in cash believed to be proceeds from the alleged illicit drug trade during the operation.

All four have reportedly admitted ownership of the items and are assisting with investigations.

They will face court after the probe is concluded.

Police are urging the public to share information on drug-related activities in their communities.
