In a move to bolster community safety and enhance police mobility, the House of Power Ministries International has donated two brand-new Chery pickup vehicles to the Ghana Police Service.
The presentation took place separately at the Kumasi Central Police Headquarters and the Ashanti West Police Headquarters in Bekwai.
The donation was made on behalf of the church’s Leader and Founder, Prophet Francis Kwateng, his wife Mercy Kwateng, and the entire congregation.
Presenting the vehicles, Rev. Charles Nimako emphasised the church’s commitment to supporting national security.
He noted that the pickups are intended to improve the Police Service’s ability to reach remote communities and respond swiftly to emergencies in hard-to-access areas.
“We recognize the crucial role the Police Service plays in maintaining peace, protecting lives and property, and ensuring the safety of our communities,” Rev. Nimako stated.
“This donation is our modest contribution to support their tireless efforts.”
Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), a senior police officer expressed profound gratitude to the leadership and members of the ministry.
He highlighted that the vehicles would significantly enhance the operational capacity of the Service, particularly in areas where logistical challenges and mobility constraints have impeded effective policing.
The Police Service further commended Prophet Francis and Mercy Kwateng for their generosity and called on other organizations and individuals to emulate this patriotic gesture to strengthen Ghana’s security agencies.
The donation is part of the House of Power Ministries International’s broader social responsibility agenda, aimed at supporting key institutions that drive national development, peace, and security.
