In a unique effort to combat timidity and build self-esteem among young members of his congregation, the head pastor of the Ultimate Charismatic Centre, Prophet Akwasi Agyeman Prempeh, has treated all the children in his church to a breakfast experience at the five-star Kempinski Hotel, followed by a guided visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Museum.
According to a social media post by an influencer, Nana Tea, the prophet said the initiative was born out of a personal observation that some of the children appeared overly timid and lacked confidence in social settings.

The children were hosted at one of Accra’s most prestigious hotels, where they enjoyed a full breakfast service, an experience most of them were encountering for the first time.

Following the meal, the group proceeded to the Kwame Nkrumah Museum, where they were taken through Ghana’s history and the legacy of the nation’s first president.

The event has since drawn attention on social media, with many commending the pastor for investing in the psychological and social development of children beyond conventional religious instruction.

“This is more than just a fun outing; it’s an investment in the future of these young ones. Sometimes, all a child needs is exposure to start believing that they, too, belong in great places. What a beautiful initiative,” Nana Tea said.

Observers noted that exposure to elevated social settings at a young age can help dismantle class-based inhibitions and nurture a sense of belonging and aspiration among children from less privileged backgrounds.

The church has not disclosed whether the initiative will become a regular programme, but Prophet Prempeh hinted at more educational and confidence-building excursions in the future.
