Two people have been confirmed dead following a helicopter crash at the Oninku Drive School Park in Tema Community One on Monday afternoon.
Reports from the Ghana National Fire Service indicated that the team responded swiftly to the scene where they, together with the police retrived the bodies of the victims.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority says microlight aircraft with registration number 9GADV was from Ho in the Volta Region to the Greater Accra Region on March 16, 2026.
According to a statement from the authority, there had been a radio communication between them at about 2:18 pm, estimating that the aircraft would land in Accra at about 3:20 pm.
