The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, known as Abronye DC, has formally acknowledged a disciplinary summons from the party and has requested that the proceedings be broadcast live to the public.
This development follows the party’s confirmation that its General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, has petitioned the National Disciplinary Committee concerning a series of alleged misconducts by Mr. Baffoe.
The petition cites public insults and unsubstantiated claims that are considered damaging to party unity and reputation.
In a press release dated Tuesday, September 30, Mr. Baffoe confirmed his receipt of the summons and stated his full preparedness to appear before the committee. In his response, he contended that his testimony would substantiate concerns regarding the conduct of a senior party member, Kennedy Agyapong, which he claims has undermined party cohesion.

“I hereby write to indicate my full preparedness and willingness to appear before the Committee to comprehensively lay bare and substantiate the actions and inaction of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, which have undermined the cohesion and integrity of our party,” Mr. Baffoe stated.
Further, Mr. Baffoe has called for full transparency in the process. “Since the referral was made public, I therefore propose that the sittings of the committee be conducted openly and broadcast live, so that the rank and file of our noble party may have the opportunity to witness the proceedings firsthand,” the statement continued.
