The Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakha, has launched a significant initiative to support education in his constituency.

All 2,207 newly admitted Senior High School (SHS) students recieved complimentary mattresses and chop boxes.

This intervention is designed to alleviate the financial burden on families and ensure that no student is hindered from accessing education due to a lack of basic boarding essentials.

In a statement, Hon. Ablakwa emphasized that the initiative aligns with his long-standing commitment to “remove every barrier to education.”

Concurrently, all five Senior High Schools within the North Tongu constituency are undergoing major infrastructural development, the MP revealed.

These projects include the construction of new dormitories and dining halls, aimed at significantly enhancing the learning environment and capacity for students.

Hon. Ablakwa described these combined efforts as part of his enduring dedication to serve his constituents “for God and country.”
