Popular Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss has opened up about the health scare his wife, Marie Bliss, endured after being struck by an unknown ailment.
Speaking during a recent ministration at the Mountain Experience program in Abuja, the musician testified to God’s intervention, revealing that Marie’s condition was so severe that she struggled to breathe.
According to Moses, the mysterious illness caused intense body pain and breathing difficulties, yet multiple medical tests in the United Kingdom failed to diagnose it.
“My wife and I were in the UK, and all of a sudden, we didn’t know when the devil came,” he recounted.
“My wife became ill, one side of her body was aching, her back was aching, and before you know it, she could not breathe very well. It became so serious that we had to take her to the hospital.”
He continued: “The doctors said they didn’t know the cause. They ran all sorts of tests, but they had no idea what was going on. I started crying.”
Moses added that he had to rush to Nigeria for a scheduled program, but on his flight back to London, he said the Spirit of God spoke to him: “What are you waiting for? Are you not going to put an end to this nonsense, this harassment? Who are you waiting for?”
Determined to fight back, Moses said he returned to the hospital and began praying with his wife, declaring God’s word over her.
Shortly after, while on his way home, he received a call that she had been discharged. The singer shared the testimony to encourage others that what medicine could not resolve, prayer overcame.
