A fire has broken out at Avenor in the Industrial Area of Accra.
The blaze is reported to have started around 7:30 a.m. near the Avenor junction, behind the rail line.
Fire Service personnel have responded to the call and are currently battling the flames.
The fire began in the Kofikrom area of Avenor, where several wooden kiosks are located and many goat and cattle traders operate.
Thick columns of black smoke and heavy flames are rising from the area.
