Did You Miss National Service? Here’s How to Fix it For 2026/2027

If you are a Ghanaian graduate who never did your mandatory national service, whether you defaulted, studied privately, or graduated abroad, the National Service Authority says you now have a chance to register for the 2026/2027 service year.

Follow the Steps below:

  1. Go online – Visit the official NSA website and click “Apply for PIN Code.”
  2. Pay GH¢50 – Complete the payment online.
  3. Gather your documents (see list below)
  4. Go in person – Take your original documents to the NSA Head Office or any regional office for verification. Open weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The documents you will need are:

  • Letter asking the Director-General for a PIN code
  • Letter from your school (attestation or introduction)
  • Certified certificate and transcript
  • Ghana Card
  • Student ID card
  • Passport (only if you studied abroad)

Please note: The NSA warns that scammers are active. Only use the official portal. Do not pay anyone outside the system.

This announcement was made on April 28, 2026, by NSA Director-General Ruth Dela Seddoh.
