The Northern Regional Police Command has arrested two Nigerian nationals, Daniel Victor Eze and David Oko Ewa, in connection with the murder of their compatriot, Nkemujika Uzorchuku Eze, 36, whose body was found in his Tamale residence on Saturday.
Investigators discovered the victim with a deep forehead wound and a towel stuffed in his mouth.
A wooden pestle believed to be the weapon was recovered from the scene.
The suspects were intercepted at Tatale while attempting to flee into Togo and later confessed to the killing, allegedly over a dispute concerning proceeds from internet fraud.
Stolen items, including phones, laptops, jewellery, and clothing, have been recovered.
The two remain in police custody and are set to appear in court today, Monday, 13th July 2026. Police have appealed to the public for continued support in the fight against crime.
