Savannah Police Nab 27 in Pre-Christmas Drug Crackdown

The Savannah Regional Police Command has arrested 27 individuals, including women, in a special pre-Christmas anti-drug operation.

The operation, which targeted Salaga, Damongo, Buipe, and Bole, resulted in the seizure of various narcotics and leaves suspected to be Indian hemp (cannabis).

The Ghana Police Service announced the arrests in a statement on its official Facebook page on Thursday, December 26.

Images of the suspects and the seized items were released by police as part of the announcement.
