Mahama Marks Christmas with Message of Gratitude and Renewed Commitment

by Creative Network

President John Dramani Mahama extended Christmas felicitations to the nation today, December 23, 2025 using the occasion to thank citizens for their trust and to reaffirm his administration’s core policy objectives.

In a statement posted to his official Facebook page, the President characterized this period as his “first Christmas with you, as your come-back President,” expressing that he is “filled with gratitude for the trust you have placed in my government.”

Central to his message was a renewed pledge to the “Resetting Ghana Agenda.” President Mahama stated his government is committed to using this framework to position the country on a path toward “inclusive growth, job creation, accountability, and prosperity.”

Outlining specific governance priorities, the President noted his administration is focused on efforts to “revive our economy, complete stalled projects, [and] expand our infrastructure.” The ultimate goal, he said, is to “build a Ghana that works for every citizen.”

He concluded by urging national unity and perseverance, calling on Ghanaians to “draw inspiration from the hope that Christmas brings” as the work ahead continues.

The message serves as both a seasonal greeting and a reiteration of the government’s stated focus on economic recovery and infrastructural development in the coming year.
