A tragic road accident near the Asenema Waterfalls has claimed the lives of three men.
The victims were occupants of a HOWO 371 truck that overturned on the Adukrom–Koforidua Highway.
The Kpong Municipal Fire Station responded to a distress call and, upon arrival, found the three males trapped in the wreckage.
Firefighters successfully extricated the bodies, but the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased were handed over to the MTTD and deposited at the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital morgue.
Crews cleared the roadway before departing. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
