Ebo Noah Granted GH₵100k Bail, Case Postponed to March 18

The Adentan Circuit Court has released self-proclaimed prophet Evans Eshun, widely known online as Ebo Noah, on a GH₵100,000 bail after his arrest for doomsday predictions that went viral.

Ebo Noah, whose real name is Evans Eshun, captured national attention in late 2025 with a series of alarming videos.

Across Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube (under the handle @Ebonoah), the 33-year-old private security guard claimed a catastrophic flood would destroy the world on December 25, 2025.

In his posts, he insisted he was building an ark to save believers from the impending disaster.

Following the uneventful Christmas day, he was taken into custody. On January 2, 2026, he was remanded by Her Honour Angela Attachie and ordered to undergo a psychiatric examination at a government facility.

His lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo, has now secured his release. The court granted bail set at GH₵100,000 with two sureties, one of whom must provide a landed property or a vehicle as collateral.

The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, where the court will continue proceedings.

The prosecution is expected to present its full case regarding the allegedly alarming social media content spread between August and December of last year.

The story of “Ebo Noah” sparked widespread discussion online, blending concerns about misinformation with public curiosity about the man behind the failed prophecy. All eyes will now be on the next hearing in March 2026.
