The Member of Parliament for Bantama, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, has officially commissioned a new constituency office for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The modern facility was inaugurated to significantly enhance the administrative and political operations for party executives and members within the constituency.
Hailed as a landmark project, the office was celebrated during the ceremony as a symbol of unity, grassroots empowerment, and a renewed commitment to effective party organization. It reinforces Bantama’s esteemed status as a stronghold of the NPP in the Ashanti Region.
The event drew a distinguished gathering of party leadership, including former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, alongside constituency executives and supporters.
Recognized as one of the most advanced constituency offices established by the party in recent years, the facility is equipped to host administrative functions, strategic meetings, and critical party mobilization activities.
In his address, former President Kufuor commended the constituency for this achievement, noting in a lighthearted yet sincere remark, “Though we have a national party headquarters, I must admit that this building is actually finer.”
Former President Akufo-Addo also praised the development, characterizing the office as a testament to the NPP’s enduring strength in the region. He urged members to maintain unity and focus, emphasizing that the party’s record in governance will be the foundation for reclaiming power in the 2028 elections.
“Bantama has always been a strong pillar of our party, and this new office will only deepen that role,” President Akufo-Addo stated.
The Bantama constituency, consistently delivering among the highest voter turnouts and victory margins for the NPP in national elections, is considered one of the party’s safest seats.
Party leaders anticipate the new office will serve as a central hub to enhance coordination and drive political engagement in the area.
Hon. Asenso-Boakye described the project as a gesture of profound gratitude to his constituents and party delegates for their steadfast support in electing him as their legislator.
He highlighted Bantama’s unique electoral feat, revealing, “The NPP won in every single polling station in the constituency during the 2024 elections. This office is in appreciation of that enormous support and the trust shown during the competitive parliamentary primaries.”
