Agradaa is Back, Reunites With Family After 8 Months in Jail

It’s a new chapter for controversial evangelist Nana Agradaa! The fiery preacher is finally a free woman after walking out of Nsawam Prison, thanks to a successful appeal that tore apart her massive 15-year sentence.

Agradaa’s joyful husband broke the news to the world on Tuesday, March 3, posting a heartfelt message on Facebook that simply read, “Thank God my wife is finally home.”

The post has since sent shockwaves of congratulatory messages through her fan base.

Agradaa was slapped with a 15-year jail term in July 2025 for a money-doubling scheme that went wrong. But her lawyers cried foul, insisting the punishment didn’t fit the crime. They headed to the High Court in Amasaman, and the judge agreed!

Justice Solomon Oppong-Twumasi described the original sentence as “unusually harsh and excessive,” effectively reducing her time behind bars to just 12 months.

Since she had already served eight months, dating back to her conviction in July, the gates of Nsawam finally swung open for the “Sika Gari” priestess-turned-preacher.

However, her freedom didn’t come completely free. The court added a GH¢2,400 fine to the mix, a small price to pay to get out of the slammer.

In a stinging critique of the lower court, the judge suggested the trial judge was too focused on Agradaa’s celebrity status rather than the facts of the case, especially since the evidence showed only two victims losing a total of GH¢1,000. Welcome back to the world, Nana Agradaa!
