On Saturday, November 29, 2025, President John Dramani Mahama celebrated his 67th birthday with private visits to the children’s wards of LEKMA Hospital and Maamobi Polyclinic in Accra.
Accompanied by his wife and children, the President’s focus was on spreading hope and providing direct support. He personally delivered gifts and monetary donations to every young patient, with additional cash support provided to their parents and guardians to ease the financial burden of healthcare during the holiday season.
The visit at LEKMA Hospital included a critical intervention, where President Mahama facilitated the emergency referral of a young girl to the University of Ghana Medical Centre for specialized care she urgently required.
The President also extended his gratitude to the frontline health workers, presenting monetary gifts to the dedicated staff at both facilities in recognition of their service.
