Thousands Joined Asantehene To Pay Final Respects To Late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III

The final burial rites for Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the late Asantehemaa, reached their conclusion on Thursday, September 18th, 2025, at the Manhyia Dwabrem.

Presided over by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, the ceremony was attended by thousands of mourners.

The day’s events featured an interdenominational service, marking the public end of the four-day observance.

The service was deliberately concluded by afternoon to allow attendees to return home before nightfall, preceding the Queen Mother’s private midnight burial.
